Arduino Gauge in 11 Minutes ???

Learn how to create a custom gauge using Arduino UNO and the 16×2 Character Display. All this could be done in under 11 minutes. This tutorial is for absolute beginners, and anyone should be able to follow the steps.
There are two “main” versions of the 16×2 display – based on the connection. It would either be a parallel connection, or an I2C connection. The I2C connection is much easier to use because it only requires two wires (SDA – serial data, and SCL – serial clock). With the LiquidCrystal_I2C library, it´s very easy to control the display.
Those displays are cheap, and they are available in many different colors. You can also get the display with an RGB backlight, and in that case, the display could be any color you want.
